LIBRA

The Scales

Some say Libra’s glyph represents justice because the scales represent justice as well as the tendency of Libra to weigh their options before making decisions. Since Libra is also associated with the western aspect of astrology, its glyph has also been explained as an image of the sun setting over the western horizon.

Although it seems Libra is a well balanced sign, it has the it has the potential to go off kilter to protect its own interests. A product of Libra’s balanced personality is their ability to cautiously and patiently weigh situations—even the trickiest of them. However, their ability to see all aspects of a situation can cause them some mental confusion. When caught in a whirlwind of chaos, the Libra stands strong and can think clearly about the best course of action. Nonetheless, sometimes the best course of action involves manipulating others to get what the Libra wants. A love of intimate relationships pulls the Libra to work had at attracting a mate.
