Calico is a coarse fabric usually printed with bright designs. There isn't much that can be made from this material that could be worn except maybe an apron and I would not recommend that as a 2nd anniversary gift in 21st century America. Even a handbag or tote bag have a chance at not going over to well, but if you add a handbag pin, maybe a nice big pin of her favorite motif, you've shown some thought and given a gift that will be remembered as special. |
