What is rose gold?

Rose gold is a metal alloy, comprised mostly of gold, and with the same gold percentage content as white and yellow gold, but with a higher percentage of copper. For example, 18 Karat gold is 75 percent gold and 25 percent other metals. In rose gold, a little more copper is included as a percentage of the 25 percent other metals, giving it it’s warm rosey hue, hence its name, Rose Gold.

Now if you had a pair of stud earrings that were rose buds and they we made of or plated rose gold, you could say

you had a pair of rose gold rose studs.
