A bit of jewelry-spotting to tell you about -
The models in Women's Wear Daily are wearing jewelry again.
Page 6 of the January 14th issue shows some colorful floral earrings and a bejeweled dragonfly necklace. Did someone say dragonfly? We know who makes some dragonflies! (pssst., check the workshop below for another new Guyot dragonfly)
The cover of the January 16th issue shows a young lady wearing a necklace made with various size beads and draped chain in turquoise and white. Inside, the same necklace is shown in brown tones. The cover of the January 17th issue features a Russian inspired costume with large triangular faceted stone earrings in a smoky topaz color. More jewelry is draped over the models inside this issue as well, and it is also large scale, looking a bit like decorative cameo frames.
Wide multi-strand beaded bracelets and a large beaded medallion bib type necklace add interest to the outfits displayed on pages 8 and 9.

Sometimes taking something away
gives more back in design terms -
in this case the center pierce of the filigree
cross adds drama, and a nice spot
for a flat back stone or it can act as a
window for color to show through.
