Dear Andrea,

Please accept my heartfelt thanks on behalf of everyone at South Shore Habitat for Humanity for your donation of 500 Birdhouse Pins for our Annual Birdhouse Show. Your generous contribution helps us to carry out our Mission of providing simple, decent housing throughout the South Shore.

Established as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in 1986, South Shore Habitat is an independent, nonprofit organization responsible for its own fundraising, volunteer recruitment and publicity. South Shore Habitat has completed 44 homes for low-income families throughout the three cities and 32 towns that we serve. Each family brings a unique story, but the over 75 adults and over 150 children share a common bond as members of the South Shore Habitat family.

In 2007 we completed the Whitman home and just recently completed a home in Scituate. 2008 looks bright for our affiliate as well, as we look to complete homes in Braintree, Stoughton, Marshfield, and Hingham.

Your donation will help us with our ambitious goals. You will join in South Shore Habitatís mission to help families move out of unsafe and substandard housing into simple, decent homes of their own. Caring support like yours makes this Mission a reality.

Thank you for your continued support.

In partnership,

Jerry McDermott
Executive Director
South Shore Habitat for Humanity
